How Pressure Switches Impact Vehicle Performance

In a modern vehicle's fuel injection system, the pressure switch monitors and controls the fuel pressure. It ensures that the fuel is delivered to the injectors at the correct pressure.

Another important function of the pressure switch in the fuel system is to prevent vapor - lock. Vapor-lock occurs when the fuel in the fuel lines vaporizes due to excessive heat, creating a vapor bubble that can block the fuel flow. The pressure switch can detect the abnormal pressure drop caused by vapor-lock and take corrective action.

The oil pressure switch is a critical component for engine lubrication. It monitors the oil pressure in the engine's lubrication system and provides an early warning if the pressure drops below a safe level.
